And if you had only known what this saying means, I desire mercy [readiness to help, to spare, to forgive] rather than sacrifice and sacrificial victims, you would not have condemned the guiltless.

He who is not with Me [definitely on My side] is against Me, and he who does not [definitely] gather with Me and for My side scatters.

Either make the tree sound (healthy and good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good), or make the tree rotten (diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (diseased and bad); for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit.

Orang yang baik mengeluarkan hal-hal yang baik dari perbendaharaannya yang baik dan orang yang jahat mengeluarkan hal-hal yang jahat dari perbendaharaannya yang jahat.

Jadi, ingatlah: pada Hari Kiamat, setiap orang harus bertanggung jawab atas tiap ucapannya yang tidak berguna.

Karena menurut ucapanmu engkau akan dibenarkan, dan menurut ucapanmu pula engkau akan dihukum.”

I say to the Lord, You are my Lord; I have no good beside or beyond You.

Aku memuji TUHAN, yang telah memberi nasihat kepadaku, ya, pada waktu malam hati nuraniku mengajari aku

You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Withhold not good from those to whom it is due [its rightful owners], when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

Janganlah merencanakan sesuatu yang merugikan sesamamu yang tinggal di dekatmu dan mempercayaimu.
